A wedding doesn’t need to be perfect and neither do wedding films. They should be real. In the middle of the Tyrolean mountains, surrounded by tradition, family, and emotion, a film was created that touches because it shows weddings as they truly are: unpredictable, honest, unique.

This wedding carried a lot of emotion. Just a short time before the day, the bride had lost her mother and you could feel how much family, memory and presence mattered throughout the celebration.
But what made the day so beautiful was that it never felt heavy only. It was full of laughter, movement, honest reactions and small documentary moments between the couple and their guests.
I gave my best to reflect and respect all of the ups and downs in this film.

Surrounded by the Austrian Alps at Steinbockalm Hochkönig, this wedding day felt calm, honest, and deeply connected. Even with the weather constantly threatening to turn. But somehow, that made it even more beautiful.
Story wise, this could be a movie…
Both of them had set out to hike the Großglockner. But, once again, the weather had other plans. What started with frustration over not reaching their individual goal turned into something far more meaningful: they found each other. So celebrating their wedding in the mountains felt more than fitting. What stayed with me most were their vows. They had so much to say to each other, straight from the heart, and that became the soul of this film. That’s also why this wedding film takes its time. Some stories simply need a little more space to breathe.
